Madonna has donated a "substantial sum " to the victims of Monday's earthquake in central Italy , her London publicist said on Wednesday .

The 50 year old Singer paternal grandparents lived in the village of Pacentro until 1919, close to where the earthquake struck killing 260 people 

"I am happy to lend a helping hand to the town that my ancestors are from " Madonna said in a statement . " My heart goes out to the families that have lost loved ones or their homes . "

" The spokesman  stated Madonna donated , the sum of $500.000 .

The most difficult part of being hurt on purpose is not  the hurt itself but the betrayal of your trust.Finding out that the other person was not better than you expected makes you question your judgment and wonder about your ability to protect yourself.

Were you too trusting,too blind or let's face it-too needy?

The fact is that there are people who don't care about other ppls feelings and who will do whatever it takes to get what they want.

You need to identify these ppl as quickly as possible.Someone who has hurt you on purpose is doing you a favor.Now there is no mistaking the intentions of such ppl-they have made their true selves known to you.

When you have a suspicion about another person,don't bury it.Allow it to come to the surface and ask yourself.

Is this person out for himself?

Is this person desperate?

Is this person mean spirited?

Who else has this person hurt ?Why??

These are difficult questions to ask only you're afraid of the answers. When ppl you love hurt you with malicious intent,your love and your need to be accepted often buy your silence and diminish your willingness to dispute them.You hope you aren't hearing what you think they're saying.

Your hope is your enemy.

You need to accept the truth when someone hurts you maliciously If you continually tolerate injury by this person,your trapped by your need to win approval, which you should have already won by who you are,not what you do .

Speak up as soon as you realize you've been hurt.State your case succinctly and directly.All you want to accomplish is to make the other person aware that you are on to him/her.Dont tolerate anymore mistreatment.

If you need what the other person has been giving you ,let your pain remind you that it's time to start providing for yourself. The first time someone hurts you maliciously it is his/her fault

The second time its yours.

Being lied to means someone does not feel you deserve the to hear the truth.It hurts deeply.

love can function only in truthful relationship,because love is the truth,the one incorruptible standard of your life.Someone who lies to you is not loving you.                                              

Someone who lies to you is telling you that you are not without worth.

Someone who lies to you is insulting your intelligence.

Someone who lies to you is merely hoping to postpone the time when you'll know the difference.

How do you know someone is lying to you?You have the thought,this doesn't make sense.You wonder why you have been given information that way.

You have a vague sense of hurt,the pain of deception.The other person is blinking,avoiding eye contact or staring right in your eye for an uncharacteristically long time.

Seems fidgety or constricted,sweats,stress,and exhibits a need for you to buy this version of the truth.You know it's a lie but you can't say why.

When you suspect someone is lying to you,just say "is this the truth? This does not sound right""this doesn't make sense""Why are you telling  me this?"what difference does this make? Are you sure you're not making this up?

If your sure the other person is lying but won't admit it,listen to the answer dispassionately and finally say "OK,lets assume what you say is so.Now what do you want?You want to know the motive.It will make it easier to deal with the situation.

If the person admits to having lied,ask these questions.

What were you afraid of telling me and why? What did you want?Why didn't you trust yourself? Why are you telling me the truth now,and how can I be sure you are?

When you find yourself lying to someone,correct yourself as soon as possible,even in mid sentence if necessary,saying I just misspoke.What I meant to say was...I exaggerated a bit.The truth really is that..Is this true I may be wrong .And then again it could be.

Allow your self the flexibility to be open.Do not cover up your lie.You do not need to explain each and every one of your past deceptions to others,but do work out on discovering some sense of what you lie about.

The lies you tell are merely a way of avoiding a painful truth.Try to understand what you are hiding.
